Born in India, raised in Georgia, and now living in New York, Ansley Moon is a writer and educator. Her first book of poetry, How to Bury the Dead, was published by Black Coffee Press. She is the recipient of a Kundiman fellowship, and her work has been published in Southern Women's Review, J Journal, PANK, and elsewhere.
